HOW TO GET HERE
From La Union to Donkey Sunrise in San Luis
There are three options to get from the town of La Union to Donkey Sunrise:

Taxi (max $10,000COP)

Tuk Tuk (max $7,000COP)

Moto-raton (moto-taxi) (max $4,000COP)
Distance is 3.5km and should take around 5-10 minutes.
From Medellin to La Union
From the South Bus Station (Terminal del Sur) take a bus with the company Arauca. At the ticket office ask for a ticket to La Victoria in Valle de Cauca (the final destination of the bus will be Tulua or Cali).
The price is $50,000COP and the journey time is around 7 hours. Buses are roughly every hour until 11pm. You must remember to ask the driver to stop in La Victoria.
When you arrive in La Victoria you can take a local bus or a taxi to La Union.
Buses also run regularly between Medellin and Pereira for around $56,000COP. See below for directions from Periera.
From Salento/
Finlandia/
Pereira to
La Union
From Salento and Filandia there are regular local buses to Pereira. The journey time is around 30 – 45 minutes.
At the terminal in Pereira take a bus with the company Trans La Andina to La Union. Buses are every half an hour from 5.30am until 7pm and the journey time is between 1.5 and 2 hours.
Price is around $12,000COP.
From Cali to
La Union
From the main bus terminal take a bus with Transandina to La Union. Price is around $25,000COP and the journey time is around 2.5 – 3 hours.
Buses run regularly but the last bus may be in the early evening. More information can be found at the terminal.
