The next 8 days and 8 nights will include 7 days of riding a combination on and off-road terrain, with one rest day in the middle. Averaging of 4-6 hours in the saddle per day, depending on the pace of the group, rated 3 bananas!

DAY 1  

Arrival day. Meet at Donkey Sunrise Basecamp at your leisure [we can organize airport pick-ups as needed]. Get a tour introduction, and meet the other riders over a cold beer and family-style dinner prior to the adventure ahead! Accommodations at our guesthouse for the night. 

​

DAY 2-8

We will depart from Donkey Sunrise Basecamp after a hot breakfast and local coffee. We will experience multiple climates today, as the ride takes us through the beautiful lush coffee region of Eje Cafetero, where we will get to sample some of the goods and take a tour of a plantation!

​

As we hit the winding roads through 2 mountain ranges, we will get views of the snow-capped peaks of Nevada del Tolima! Here we get deeper into Colombian culture as we ride through the old colonial towns of the mountains.

​

We emerge from the East Andes onto the vast tropical planes and crystal clear rivers of east Colombia. experience the cowboy culture of the llanos with traditional smoked meats and the Joropo dancing rooted in the region. Soak in some of the most beautiful sunsets in Colombia as we share stories over great food in good company!

DAY 9

A relaxed ride through the undulating hills of sugar cane and coffee farms back to Donkey Sunrise Headquarters, where we finish the tour in the evening, unwinding with a well-deserved beverage and family-style meal, reflecting on a mission accomplished and memories made with new friends! Accommodations at our guesthouse included.

TO NOTE:

• Prices are based on there being two or more participants in the tour. Price will be upgraded to a private tour if there are no other participants.

• The deposit is 50% of the tour. We would like to receive this asap - this ensures that we can reserve our first choice in motorcycle rental and hotels. The remaining 50% must be paid before the start of the tour.

• Payments can be made in USD, COP, or Card [3% fee will be added].

• We charge a $500 (2,000,000 COP) deposit per motorcycle rental, click here for more info.

• We welcome those coming on their own wheels! Your tour price will reflect the subtraction of the bike rental fee.

• As with everything in Colombia the routes and plans are subject to change due to conditions, but this is part of the adventure!
